The Detroit Red Wings have signed goaltender Patrik Rybar to a one-year, entry-level contract.

According to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press, Rybar will make $925,000 at the NHL level and $70,000 in the AHL.
Rybar, 24, spent most of last season with HK Kradec Kralove of the Czech Extraliga. In 36 games he posted a 23-13 record with a 0.932 save percentage, 1.73 goals-against average and a league-leading seven shutouts.
He also represented Slovakia at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyongchang and at the 2018 World Championship in Denmark.
