Nikita Kucherov has travelled to Chicago with the Tampa Bay Lightning prior to their Game 6 Stanley Cup Final matchup on Monday and has shown signs of improvement.
Kucherov collided with Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford in the first period of Saturday’s Game 5 loss. Kucherov, 21, appeared to hurt either his collarbone or right shoulder on the play.

Chicago won the game 2-1 and lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. The Blackhawks are looking to win their third championship in six years.
Kucherov has been stellar during the playoffs, scoring 10 goals and 12 assists in 25 games. Three of those goals have been winners.
Tampa Bay has struggled to score goals in the series and Kucherov could be a boost to the Lightning’s offence. Crawford made 31 saves in Game 5.
