Minnesota Wild winger Zach Parise is considering having back surgery on Tuesday, a procedure that would keep him out of the lineup for up to two months, The Athletic’s Michael Russo is reporting.
Parise has yet to play this season because of back issues. He missed time during the 2015-16 season with a herniated disk in his back.
Parise, 33, had 19 goals and 42 points in 69 games for the Wild last season. He added two goals and an assist in five post-season contests.
