Sportsnet.ca – Edmonton Oilers net-minder Dwayne Roloson will get the nod Thursday night after playing back up for the last seven games.
Roloson was previously replaced by Mathieu Garon after Garon’s strong play between the pipes. Head coach Craig MacTavish added, "It’s time to get Roli back in. He’s been professional throughout this stretch and I expect him to come in and be strong." Roloson has a 7-12-3 record and a 3.12 GAA in 24 games this season.
Thursday marks the beginning for the team’s longest road trip of the season. The Oilers will suit up away from Rexall for the next five games, kicking off the eastern swing in Washington. The team will also face Carolina, Atlanta, Tampa Bay, and Florida.
