The Buffalo Sabres have acquired forward Taylor Leier from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for forward Justin Bailey.
Leier, who will report to the AHL’s Rochester Americans, has 19 points in 34 games with the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms so far this season. He has appeared in 55 career NHL games, recording seven points.
Over parts of three seasons with the Sabres, Bailey has five goals and three assists in 52 regular season games.
