Sabres sign defenceman John Gilmour to one-year contract

The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenceman John Gilmour to a one-year deal, the team announced Monday.

Gilmour comes with an average annual value of $700,000.

The 26-year-old has played 33 NHL games with the New York Rangers over the past two season, registering two goals and five points at the NHL level.
