San Jose Sharks tease Vegas with ‘Nighty Knight’ seat layout

Check out the SAP Center ahead of Game 3 in San Jose, with a message to the Golden Knights.

After Vegas destroyed San Jose 7-0 in Game 1 of their second round matchup, the Sharks bounced back with a double overtime win on Saturday to draw even. Now we have a series as the games shift to San Jose in what’s become a best-of-five where the Sharks hold home-ice advantage.

If there’s one team out there that has done a great job this post-season in setting up its arena in the best way possible to taunt the opposing team, it’s the Sharks. In Round 1 against Anaheim, which they won in four games, the team gave out towels to its fans depicting the old Nintendo video game Duck Hunt.

For Round 2, they need to step their game up against the Pacific Division champions. The Sharks have been using the hashtag #knightynight to this point, and took it to a new level with the layout of the seats in the upper bowl.

And again, the towels themselves are a great look.

Now, is this crossing the line into bulletin board material for the Golden Knights to draw inspiration from? Or can the Sharks take a 2-1 series lead and move two wins away from their second conference final appearance in three years?

Game 3 goes down Monday night, and you can watch it on Sportsnet.
