The Winnipeg Jets will be looking to win four games in a row for the first time this season when they visit the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday afternoon as +125 underdogs on the NHL betting lines at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Winnipeg kicked off a crucial four-game road trip with a decisive 5-1 win in Ottawa on Thursday night to improve to 7-2-1 over its past 10 games going into Saturday’s matchup at Wells Fargo Center.

With Thursday’s victory over the Senators as -125 chalk, the Jets returned to the Western Conference playoff picture for the first time since early January, and climbed to +4500 on the Stanley Cup odds, ahead of the +6000 odds they sported earlier this month.

The Jets have tallied a pair of wins on the road during their current surge, but steady success away from home has eluded the team since opening the campaign with wins in 10 of their first 14 road contests. Winnipeg has posted wins in just six of 15 road outings since, and has surrendered four or more goals in four of its past six away games.

The Flyers return home as -145 favourites at online betting sites after tallying a 4-3 overtime win in Columbus as a -105 wager on Thursday, contributing to a 12-5-1 run that has boosted the team into third place in the Metropolitan Division, just five points back of Washington and Pittsburgh. The Flyers have also dominated the Jets on home ice, claiming victory in seven straight dates at Wells Fargo Center, but dropped a 7-3 decision in their most recent trip to Winnipeg on December 15.

Elsewhere on the Saturday NHL odds, the Senators close out a six-game homestand against the Montreal Canadiens as +105 underdogs. Ottawa saw a rare two-game win streak come to an end in Thursday’s loss to the Jets, but still sports a respectable 3-2-0 record over its past five contests.

The Canadiens travel to Ottawa as -125 chalk after shocking the Washington Capitals with a 4-3 overtime win on Thursday to snap a five-game losing streak that has all but bounced them from playoff contention. Montreal, however has enjoyed recent road success against the Senators, posting wins in four of six visits, capped by a narrow 2-1 victory on Jan. 11.

As well, the Toronto Maple Leafs aim to strengthen their grasp on third place in the Atlantic Division as they host the Carolina Hurricanes as -140 betting favourites, while later on Saturday the Vancouver Canucks play host to the Boston Bruins as +120 underdogs.
