Senators’ Alex Burrows a game-time decision for Game 4

Ottawa Senators forward Alex Burrows is in some discomfort as he tries to get back to the bench after going down in front of the Pittsburgh Penguins net.

Ottawa Senators forward Alex Burrows will be a game-time decision for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final against the Pittsburgh Penguins Friday night.

Burrows got tangled in front of the Penguins net with Pittsburgh defenceman Ian Cole and seemed to hurt his left leg in the second period of Wednesday’s Game 3. He limped off the ice and went straight to the locker-room.

The 36-year-old joined the Senators at the trade deadline and has four assists this post-season.

Ottawa holds a 2-1 series lead over Pittsburgh heading into Friday’s matchup. Watch the game live on CBC or Sportsnet NOW at 8:00 p.m. ET.
