Senators’ Erik Karlsson won’t play against Panthers

The Ottawa Senators will be without defenceman Erik Karlsson when they host the Florida Panthers on Tuesday.

Karlsson missed practice on Monday with an illness.

He has eight goals and 56 points in 66 games this season.

The Senators had recalled defenceman Patrick Sieloff, along with forward Jim O’Brien, earlier on Tuesday.
