Ottawa Senators defenceman Mark Borowiecki left the game Thursday with an apparent knee injury.

Borowiecki injured his leg throwing a hit on Tampa Bay Lightning defenceman Matt Carle.

The physical defenceman has two points and 107 penalty minutes in 62 games this season.
