Ottawa Senators forward Mike Hoffman is listed as day-to-day with an undisclosed injury and is not in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Nashville Predators.
It is unclear whether or not Hoffman sustained the injury during Tuesday’s game in Philadelphia, but he was absent at the Senators’ team skate Thursday morning.
Hoffman has seven points (three goals, four assists) in 16 games this season.
In a corresponding roster move, the Senators recalled forward Max McCormick from the AHL’s Binghamton Senators, who drew into the lineup against Nashville.
The 24-year-old has four points (two goals, two assists) in 21 career NHL games.
