Ottawa Senators forward Nick Paul has left Saturday’s AHL game after having his wrist cut by a skate.

The injury happened in the first period of the Binghamton Senators game against the Syracuse Crunch.

Paul was immediately rushed to the locker room by the team’s medical staff and was later taken to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.

After the game Binghampton coach Kurt Kleinendorst said it looked like Paul would be “totally fine.”
