The Ottawa Senators have placed forward Tom Pyatt on waivers, according to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.

The 31-year-old winger has appeared in 37 games for Ottawa this season, posting two assists in that span.

St. Louis Blues defenceman Chris Butler and forward Jordan Nolan were also placed on waivers, per Friedman.

Phil Di Giuseppe, who’s appeared in 21 games for the Carolina Hurricanes this season, was claimed off waivers by the Nashville Predators, while veteran defender Jason Garrison — recently traded to the Chicago Blackhawks — has cleared.

The 34-year-old White Rock, B.C. native has suited up for 17 games at the NHL level this season, all for the Edmonton Oilers, after playing primarily in the AHL last season.
