The Ottawa Senators have traded Vladislav Namestnikov to the Colorado Avalanche for a 2021 fourth-round draft pick.

Namestnikov is in the midst of a 13-goal, 25-point campaign with the Senators, by whom he was acquired in an early-season trade with the New York Rangers.

The 27-year-old Russian winger had his most productive season in 2017-18, when he scored 22 goals and 46 points with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Rangers.

The rebuilding Senators are already busy this deadline, also dealing forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau to the Islanders.
