San Jose Sharks forward Tomas Hertl has been the talk of the hockey world since his controversial four-goal performance Tuesday night.
That was until teammate Joe Thornton stole the spotlight from the Sharks’ rookie Thursday, after uttering this response to a question posed by reporters to Patrick Marleau in the Sharks dressing room, as reported by the Vancouver Province.
“Shut up, have you ever played the game?”
He then added:
“I’d have my c— out if I scored four goals. I’d have my c— out, stroking it.”
As you can imagine, it didn’t take long for the Twittervserse to weigh in on Thornton’s comments.
