Sports world takes to Twitter to celebrate life of Gord Downie

Tragically Hip front man Gord Downie passed away Tuesday night. He was 53 years old.

The Canadian icon touched and influenced many lives, including those within the sports world. Athletes and teams and members of the media took to Twitter to express their condolences and thank Downie for his life’s work.
