The St. Louis Blues have acquired defenceman Michael Del Zotto from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a 2019 sixth-round pick, the club announced Monday.

Del Zotto tallied three assists in the 12 games he played with the Ducks this season. The 28-year-old began this season with the Vancouver Canucks where he had four points in 23 games before getting traded to Anaheim in January.

A former No. 20 overall pick of the New York Rangers in 2008, the Blues will be Del Zotto’s sixth NHL club after also spending time with the Nashville Predators and Philadelphia Flyers.

Del Zotto is set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.
