There are just four games on Wednesday night’s NHL schedule, but two teams can clinch a berth in the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs – including a team that isn’t even playing.

Both the Vegas Golden Knights and St. Louis Blues can book tickets to the dance if results go Vegas’s way against the Avalanche in Colorado.

A single point for Vegas will mean the Golden Knights are in for the second straight year, while a regulation Vegas win will also clinch a spot for the Blues, who would make a return to the post-season after missing out in 2017-18.

Puck drops on Golden Knights vs. Avalanche at 10:00 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT with Malcolm Subban and Philipp Grubauer expected to start.
