Stars’ Bishop forced to leave game vs. Blues with apparent injury
Watch as Ben Bishop is left hurt after taking a slapshot off his collarbone. The whistle is never blown as the St. Louis Blues score again thanks to Jaden Schwartz.
Bishop was struck up high on a shot from Colton Parayko and went down on the play, leading to a St. Louis goal.
He remained in the game initially, allowing another goal shortly after and then headed for the dressing room.
Stars coach Jim Montgomery said his goaltender was fine while speaking with reporters after the game.
Jim Montgomery said Ben Bishop is fine, and that X-Ray was precautionary. He said the decision to blow the whistle or not blow the whistle was discretionary, and that he doesn't have a problem with it.
