Dallas Stars forward Antoine Roussel was suspended for two games Thursday for his cross-check to the throat of Boston Bruins defenceman Adam McQuaid.

Roussel received a five-minute major and a game misconduct on the play during Tuesday’s game.

Roussel was fined the maximum ($5,376.34) for a sucker-punch to the face of San Jose Sharks defenceman Justin Braun in November.

The 22-year-old forward has 11 goals and 22 points in 54 games this season.
