Stars sign defenceman Joel Hanley to one-year deal

The Dallas Stars have signed depth defenceman Joel Hanley to a one-year, two-way deal.

The team announced the contract on Sunday.

Hanley spent the 2017-18 campaign with the Arizona Coyotes organization, appearing in five games for the NHL club. In three pro seasons, the 27-year-old has skated in 22 regular season NHL contests, registering six assists.
