The NHL Frozen in Time: Lundqvist’s dreamy eyes

Missing out on a highlight reel goal upset Jeff Skinner, so much that he accidentally slashed the referee after the blown chance.

There’s a distinct difference in watching the NHL going full speed and capturing moments in still images.

In photos, one can smell the glistening sweat of the players, taste the glass that they get shoved into and hear the clang of the post as the puck resists landing in the net.

But not these ones. These pictures just make NHLers look adorable.
