Couture will miss the next six weeks with a fractured ankle, ruling him out of this year’s all-star festivities. Silfverberg, who was representing the Anaheim Ducks, is missing the event for the birth of his child.
Hertl, 26, will be making his first all-star appearance. He’s posted 15 goals and 19 assists in 42 games this season with the Sharks.
Pacioretty, 31, has 20 goals and 25 assists with the Golden Knights this season. He’ll also be making his first appearance at an NHL All-Star Game.
