Top 10 Kraft Hockeyville communities announced

Watch as the top 10 finalists for 2015 Kraft Hockeyville are announced. This year the winner will get to host an NHL preseason game plus one hundred thousand dollars in arena improvement.

The top 10 finalists for Kraft Hockeyville 2015 were announced on Saturday night.

The winner will receive an NHL pre-season game and $100,000 in arena upgrades. Second prize is $100,000 in arena upgrades, while third prize is $25,000 in arena upgrades.

Here’s a look at the communities in the running.

Morden Recreation Centre – Morden, Manitoba

Middleton Arena – Middleton, Nova Scotia

R.J. Lalonde Arena – Bonnyville, Alberta

A.J. Larue Arena – Haliburton, Ontario

Ray McDonald Sports Centre – Morinville, Alberta

Chatham Memorial Arena – Chatham, Ontario

Memorial Arena – Dawson Creek, British Columbia

Aréna de Saint-Joseph de Beauce – St-Joseph De Beauce, Quebec

E.J. Broomfield Arena – Happy Valley – Goose Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador

Panorama Recreation Centre Arena B – North Saanich, British Columbia

Voting opens 11:00 p.m. on March 21 to decide the top two. Voting closes Monday March 23 at 12:00 a.m. and the top two will be announced March 28.
