Toronto condo options for Maple Leafs’ Babcock

Saying good-bye is never easy, not even for the usually straight faced, stoic Mike Babcock, who got a little emotional while voicing his thanks to the Red Wings organization and the city that embraced him and his family.

Before all the practices, player meetings and game planning begin, one of the first things Mike Babcock will need to do as he settles in as the new coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs is find a place to live.

“When the kids left home, my wife and I were going to move someplace and live downtown and look for a condo,” Babcock said at his introductory press conference.

It’s unknown if Babcock prefers modest accommodations or if he plans on going full MTV Cribs on us, but after signing an eight-year, $50-million contract he’ll be able to do whatever the heck he wants.
