Toronto Maple Leafs release 2017 rookie tournament roster

The Maple Leafs have signed their top pick from the 2017 entry draft, Timothy Liljegren, and Lou Lamoriello had nothing but good things to say about the prospect.

The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced a roster of 26 players who will represent the team at a three-day prospects tournament that will run from Sept. 8-10 at Ricoh Coliseum.

Headlining the group for the Leafs is 2017 first-rounder (17th overall) Timothy Liljegren, a highly touted two-way defenceman from Sweden.
