Trending: Iginla’s Calgary home for sale

Jarome Iginla should be an upgrade over Nathan Horton, argues Ryan Porth.

The Pittsburgh Penguins’ unrestricted-free-agent-to-be, Jarome Iginla, won’t be on the market until July 5, but his house is available right now.

The 11,000-square-foot Calgary home of the former face of the Flames hit the open market over the weekend, according to multiple reports. The gated two-story luxury home is situated in residential Elboya (628 Brittania Dr. SW) and overlooks the city Iggy once ruled.

For $3.9 million (MLS list price), the prospective buyer can look forward to an impressive wine cellar, a chef’s kitchen, spacious graffiti-adorned bedrooms with walk-in closets, a four-car tandem garage, a media room with bar, and a built-in backyard “sport court.”

Check out the full listing here before dialing your realtor to ask how much of that wine made the journey with Iginla to Pittsburgh.
