Must see: Datsyuk’s behind-the-back goal

Oh. My. Datsyuk.

For NHL fans ecstatic that the National Hockey League lockout is over, don’t think of this as yet another infuriating highlight from across the pond, but rather a preview of what’s coming back to North America.

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Pavel Datsyuk will once again be playing for the Detroit Red Wings, but before he hops an outbound flight from Russia, here’s a little parting gift he gave to CSKA Moscow fans.

This must-see-thrice shootout goal helped lift Datsyuk’s KHL club to a 3-2 win over Traktor Chelyabinsk Sunday.

In 31 games for CSKA, Datsyuk scored 11 goals and 25 assists.

Take a look and think about how ready he is for training camp:

Bonus: Perhaps Datsyuk was inspired by seeing Wings teammate Henrik Zetterberg pull this one-handed shootout finish in the Swiss A league just a couple days prior…
