Marty Turco isn’t ready to retire just yet.
The veteran goaltender has signed a short-term deal with EC Salzburg, the team confirmed on Sunday.
Turco will play in the European Trophy Finals / Red Bulls Salute, which is a tournament played in Vienna and Salzberg from Dec. 16-18.
The 36-year-old had 11-11-3 in 29 games with the Chicago Blackhawks last season. He finished with a .897 save percentage and 3.02 GAA.
Turco, who was reportedly talking to the Toronto Maple Leafs in November, hasn’t been able to find a job with an NHL club this season.
It is unclear how many games Turco will play for EC Salzburg.
