Twitter hero Tony X stars at his first live NHL game

Tony X, a.k.a. @soIoucity on Twitter, attended his first NHL game Tuesday after being awarded tickets when his discovery of hockey made him a must-follow.

The St. Louis Blues reached out to him with an offer of free tickets and he finally got to find out whether an NHL rink required a parka.

Tony apparently stumbled upon a Blues game last week when he was searching for a St. Louis Cardinals tilt. It was love at first sight. But as hockey fans know, seeing the game in person is where it’s at.

With the campaign on to determine which NHL star will grace EA Sports’ NHL 17, Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko reached out to him for support and a suggestion for some new attire.
