After some anxious moments watching the eight lottery balls bounce around, the New York Rangers were awarded with the first overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.

This is the first time the Rangers will own the No. 1 pick since 1965 when they selected Andre Veilleux and the second year in a row they select in the top two after taking Kappo Kakko with the second overall pick in 2019.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter, including a few that believe there was a bit of controversy with the ping pong balls.
