The Detroit Red Wings announced on Thursday that their new rink will be called Little Caesars Arena.
Little Caesars is a Detroit-headquartered pizza chain and the arena is set to open for the 2017-18 season.
Little Caesars branding will appear on the roof of the arena and at centre ice, among other places. The naming rights agreement is for 20 years.
Hockey fans found the announcement quite amusing and didn’t shy away from telling the Red Wings about it on Twitter.

Please tell me that "Little Caesars Arena" as the name for the new Red Wings stadium is a joke
