Ovechkin leads Caps through ‘Jingle Bells’

Alexander Ovechkin and his band of Capitals play their rendition of Jingle Bells, while wearing terrible, but awesome Christmas sweaters.

It’s not the most bizarre digital holiday greeting we’ve seen from an NHL team this winter. (That honour goes to the Nashville Predators for this curiosity.) But dash it all, it sure is the most joyous.

Decked out in cozy Christmas sweaters, captain Alex Ovechkin and a band merry-making Washington Capitals jam out
to ‘Jingle Bells’ for a little viral video Christmas gift to the fans.

Nicklas Backstrom (tambourine), Joel Ward (pink inflatable saxophone) and Troy Brouwer (bass) jump into the fun. And Mike Green provides both cowbell and more cowbell.
