Watch: Harnarayan Singh’s epic call of Guentzel’s Game 2 goal

It's Harnaryan Singh at his best as he gives an exuberant play-by-play of Jake Guentzel's goal against Nashville in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final.

Outside of Sidney Crosby hoisting the grand prize itself, the best highlight of last year’s Stanley Cup Final didn’t come courtesy of anyone on the ice.

Hockey Night Punjabi’s Harnarayan Singh’s amazing “BoninoBoninoBonino” call of Nick Bonino’s game-winning goal in Game 1 of 2016’s championship series went viral and became among the most memorable moments in all of the 2015-16 NHL season.

Flash-forward to Wednesday night’s Game 2 of the 2017 Stanley Cup Final, and it looks like Singh has come pretty close to out-doing himself.

Just 10 seconds into the third period, Pittsburgh Penguins rookie Jake Guentzel scored what ended up being the game-winning goal and Singh didn’t hold back.

As you can see – and definitely hear – in the video at the top of this post after Guentzel scored, Singh screamed out the last syllable of the Penguins rookie’s name for a solid 10-11 seconds, and then his colour partner followed it up with what now should be considered a classic “Jake-n n’ bakin’” just for good measure.

Amazing.

Guentzel’s goal opened things up for the Penguins, who went on to win 4-1 and take a 2-0 series lead over the Nashville Predators.
