Watch: Jaromir Jagr loses teeth, forgives Sens’ Chiasson

Watch as Jaromir Jagr springs a leak from his nose after taking a high stick from Alex Chiasson while in front of the Ottawa net.

All Jaromir Jagr wants for Christmas is his two front teeth back. (Apologies for that line but I couldn’t resist!)

The Florida Panthers winger was left a bloody mess midway through the first period Tuesday after being hit with an inadvertent high stick from Ottawa Senators forward Alex Chiasson. The future Hall of Famer was assisted to the locker room for repairs but eventually returned to the game.

Chiasson, who was not penalized on the play, went out of his way to apologize to Jagr. Instead of being bitter about losing a pair of chiclets, Jagr gave Chiasson a pat on the helmet as a sign of forgiveness.

‘Tis the season, folks.
