If NBC needs to promote the Stanley Cup Final, it might as well be done with laughter.

Jimmy Fallon unveiled his final edition of NHL Superlatives Wednesday on The Tonight Show.

As he has done in previous rounds, Fallon handed out awards based on players’ mug shots, zeroing in exclusively on members of the Tampa Bay Lightning and Chicago Blackhawks.

Marian Hossa, Patrick Kane, Kimmo Timonen, Brian Boyle and Brad Richards are among the targets here.

But the Andrej Sustur punch line is a personal favourite.

The Tampa Bay Lightning’s social media squad fired back at the talk-show host Thursday. Remember this is the team that eliminated Fallon’s New York Rangers in the conference final.
