During Sunday night’s tilt between the Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers, Kings forward Jordan Nolan appeared to sucker punch Oilers winger Jesse Joensuu.
The incident occurred in the dying moments of the second period where, during a small scrum, Nolan grabbed Joensuu and popped the unsuspecting Oiler with his glove still half on.
Nolan was assessed a double-minor for his handiwork.
And the Kings would go on to win the game 4-2.
