From the “If This Cup Could Talk” and “No Words” promotions from the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs (which you can find in this Quick Shifts article), to the “History Will Be Made” spots from years past, these always get hockey fans in the feels.
The latest spot features a number of NHL legends from current and past generations spelling out their names that appear on the Stanley Cup. The most special moment comes when the only name shown imprinted on the Cup doesn’t get spelled out by anyone, and is instead represented with Wayne Gretzky holding a picture of Gordie Howe.
