Remember the song Graduation (Friends Forever) by Vitamin C?

It’s the type of tune that sets your tear ducts in motion as soon as the opening notes are heard.

It’s also a song that should’ve been softly playing in the background during the most emotional scene in the latest instalment of In The Room.

Episode 5 of the Pittsburgh Penguins video series featured a bunch of friends catching up like college kids seeing each other for the first time since high school graduation.

In the clip, teased by the Penguins on Twitter, Sidney Crosby and Kris Letang caught up with former teammate Marc-Andre Fleury.

“Got a little [tribute] video coming tonight,” Crosby remarked to Fleury prior to his first game back at PPG Paints Arena.

Of course, the three men were teammates for several Stanley Cup-winning Penguins teams, but Fleury is now between the crease for the expansion Vegas Golden Knights.

“I used to like to watch those,” Fleury responded with his trademark smile. “Tonight, I don’t give a [expletive].”
