The Minnesota Wild will be without defenceman Matt Dumba for at least three months, the team announced on Wednesday.
Dumba underwent successful surgery to repair a ruptured right pectoralis muscle, an injury he suffered during the first period against the Calgary Flames on Dec. 15.
Even though he’s been out for the Wild’s past three games, Dumba still ranks second among NHL defencemen with 12 goals.
