The Minnesota Wild have hired Judd Brackett as the team’s director of amateur scouting, the club announced Thursday.
Brackett previously served in the same role with the Vancouver Canucks from 2015 until this year when the team opted to not renew his contract. He had worked for the Canucks for the past 12 seasons in their scouting department.
Brackett was integral to the building of the current Canucks roster, helping the team draft the likes of Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser and Quinn Hughes in recent seasons.
