The Minnesota Wild have re-signed defenceman Hunter Warner to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Friday.
The deal is worth $700,000 in the NHL and $80,000 in the AHL.
Warner played last season with Minnesota’s AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, recording one goal, six assists and 97 penalty minutes in 73 games. He’s tallied 18 career points with Iowa since joining the team near the end of the 2015-16 season.
The 23-year-old has yet to play an NHL game.
After going undrafted, Warner signed out of the USHL with the Wild on a three-year, entry-level contract in 2014.
