Wild sign Luke Johnson to two-year, two-way deal

The Minnesota Wild have signed centre Luke Johnson to a two-year, two-way contract worth $1.4 million, the team announced on Monday.

A fifth-round pick (134th overall) of the Blackhawks in 2013, Johnson recorded one assist in 15 games with Chicago during the 2018-19 season.

Johnson spent most of last season with the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL, registering 18 goals and 13 assists in 53 games.
