Wild sign Matt Hendricks to one-year contract

The Minnesota Wild have signed forward Matt Hendricks to a one-year contract worth $700,000.

Hendricks has played in 581 games during his 11-year career and has scored 54 goals paired wit 59 assists.

The 37-year-old was originally drafted in the fifth round of the 2000 NHL draft.
