The Ottawa Senators announced that forward Jesse Winchester has returned from the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators, where he had been loaned on a two-week conditioning assignment since Oct. 23.
Winchester, 26, sustained a right-knee injury in the Senators’ 2-1 pre-season loss in Montreal on Sept. 18 and has yet to see regular-season action with Ottawa. In four games with the B-Sens, he recorded four points (two goals and two assists) and no penalty minutes.
