As the trade deadline approaches, the Winnipeg Jets will be without defenceman Tobias Enstrom for a few weeks.

The team announced Thursday that Enstrom had surgery on a lower-body injury and that his time for recovery is two-to-three weeks.

Enstrom left Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning and did not return. He did not suit up for the Jets for Tuesday’s 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars.

Enstrom, 32, has one goal and 14 points in 55 games this season.
