Winnipeg Jets recall goaltender Eric Comrie from Manitoba

Patrik Laine scored two goals in a win, Ottawa shut out Detroit and Brad Marchand made another dirty play.

The Winnipeg Jets have recalled goaltender Eric Comrie from the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

Comrie was a second-round pick of the Jets (59th overall) in 2013, and has spent the past two seasons with Manitoba.

He has a 17-25-2 record with a .906 save percentage and 2.98 goals-against average in 48 appearances this season.

It is unclear whether the 21-year-old will get to make his NHL debut over Winnipeg’s final two games.

The Jets play the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday before finishing their season at home against the Nashville Predators on Saturday.
