Jhonas Enroth added to Team Sweden roster for World Cup

Here's a quick look at what Maple Leafs fans can expect from Jhonas Enroth, who's now officially signed, and will back up starting tender Frederik Andersen.

Four days after signing with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Jhonas Enroth has a new team for which to play.

The 28-year-old goalie was added to Team Sweden’s World Cup roster on Friday, where he will serve as the third-string goalie behind Henrik Lundqvist and Jacob Markstrom. He will replace the injured Robin Lehner.

Enroth has been a career backup goalie in the NHL with Buffalo, Dallas and Los Angeles. Last season with the Kings, he played 16 games, winning seven with a .922 save percentage and 2.17 GAA.

Enroth signed a one-year deal with Toronto earlier this week for $750,000.
