Team Europe’s Marian Hossa was taken to a Quebec hospital after Thursday’s pre-tournament game against Team North America, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
The Chicago Blackhawks forward did not take a shift in the third period and played just 10:47 in the game.
Hossa’s status was updated after the contest.
Team Europe will play in a rematch with Team North America on Sunday.
